Hawaii from up high

Just a few pictures from the helicopter tour we took while we were in Hawaii.  It was amazing, by the way.  It was the most clear day that we were there, and because of that the pilot took us to the highest point on the island, a peak that receives so much rain, it is sometimes referred to as the wettest spot on earth.

My goodness, when the pilot took us into this crater, I thought, "How in the heck are we going to get out of here?"  But he just maneuvered the helicopter easily around in that tiny space.  It was crazy!

 So beautiful!

Do you like the pretty helicopter?  They charge a pretty penny to fly in it, but it sure was an awesome experience.
