While the Boys are Away, the Girls Will Play--Part I of Wednesday in Mexico

So, several of the guys went golfing on Wednesday.

Garrett really was not the only one

I sent the camera with Britt and these are the pictures he took.

The entire party of golfers included Britt and Garrett, Paul and Preston, Stetler, Kris, Jace and Jon. They golfed the best ball version of the game (is that called skins, or something else?) and they golfed in groups of four. It was funny, at the end of each team's 18 holes, their scores were almost identical. I think they had a great time.

And the rest of us had a fabulous time on the beach without them. Check out their awesome pyramid.

Now Rachel needs to rescue Olivia

and Olivia escapes.

It was so fun to watch these girls creating the sand shark, complete with rows of sea shell teeth. Then enacting scenes of terror with the shark. They had a lot of fun burying Rachel and Olivia. It was really funny to watch Rachel trying to get out of the sand. She was buried really well.

We also took some pictures of the girls jumping, with the tide in the background, but you already saw the best of those.

One of my girls' favorite things was playing in the tide pools and finding little treasures in the water. We also tried to build a sand castle, but that didn't really work out, so we eventually made our way back to the pool. That is, we made our way back to the pool after the Macdonald girls tried to catch a crab they had found in a tide pool. . .
